The evaluation of training involves the routine discussion of progress towards goals with team members and managers. Evaluation of training involves looking at the daily documentation and seeking trends in the records of an animal’s performance over time, including progress towards goals, changes in aggression, whether patterns of aggression are associated with particular animal caretakers, and how long it takes to train a particular behavior. The goal of evaluation is to obtain a clearer idea of what the issues are, as well as potential solutions for improving future training sessions.
